Images

First understand that all pictures online need to be uploaded to the internet from your computer. Most people use a free PHOTO HOSTING service like Photobucket.
Once your pictures are uploaded to the photo hosting site your picture will now have it's own URL or location, and is ready to be shown to the world!

Here is the basic HTML code for inserting an image:

<img src="yoururl/nameofthepicture.jpg">

Image Sizing
When taking a digital picture that you plan on uploading online try to have an idea of what size the picture is. If you have photo editing software that allows you to resize huuuuuge pictures then you are good to go. I like to use Photoshop so it doesn't make my picture look pixellated or funky after resizing.

Everyone gets lazy though, especially me, so thank goodness there is a code to help us out:

<img src="yoururl/thenameofyourpicture.jpg" width= "250">

There are many possibilities & many different ways you can have your CSS coded background. First know if you want it to tile or repeat. If you want it fixed or not and where you want the background positioned (center, right, left). You are really going to have to mess with this code to see what you like. Every background image is different and may look better repeating than fixed and vice versa.
